Rubio in the limelight


Florida’s junior U.S. senator, Marco Rubio, is taking led on the federal debt debate. According to the New York Times, in the space of 24 hours, Rubio penned an opinion article opposing a higher debt limit, appeared on three national television programs talking largely about the nation’s fiscal challenges and even sent a letter to senior lawmakers on calling for a congressional resolution to oust Moammar Qaddafi of Libya.
