Bye, bye Ice Pilots

The Pensacola Ice Pilots will no longer call the Civic Center home after this season ends.

The Escambia County Commission is set to approve termination of the Pensacola Ice Pilots’ lease of the Civic Center tonight. This ends the hockey team’s ten-year old relationship with the area.

The lease has one year remaining. The county lets the team out of their lease, as long as the theym donâ€™t play next season.
