Hotel reservations not being made far in advance

It was reported yesterday at the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce meeting that hotel reservations are being made from three to 10 days in advance. Except for Blue Angel’s weekend, there are few reservations booked for July. This trend began last summer with the oil spill and hasn’t changed. People are looking at the Weather Channel on Sundays and making decisions about their vacations, which are shorter than before.
