Scott shakes up staff


Mary Anne Carter, the chief policy advisor to Gov. Rick Scott, turned in her resignation letter a day after Gov. Rick Scott announced his chief of staff, Mike Prendergast, is leaving his job to become executive director of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Steve MacNamara, who currently works for Senate President Mike Haridopolos, is expected to be named the new chief of staff sometime this week. Read more.
