Sinkhole insurance rates go up

The daily newspaper reports that Pensacola residents are upset about sinkholes. The problem is surfacing just as the board that oversees Citizens Property Insurance unanimously approves massive increases to sinkhole premiums. Sinkhole premiums would rise by an average of 429 percent under the Citizens proposal. Read St. Pete Times.
