Buzz: Better Pensacola Forum gives Hayward thumbs up

Bad news for those wanting to bash Mayor Ashton Hayward and his management team. The Better Pensacola Forum Quality of Life survey will show tomorrow that 78 percent of the residents believe Pensacola is going in the right direction—a 20-percent jump over last year. The new mayor has a 70 percent positive rating for his first six months in office, according to PYP officials.

The Pensacola Young Professionals have taken over the Better Pensacola Forum and hired Mason-Dixon to do the survey. The full survey will be released by PYP tomorrow afternoon at 5 p.m. at New World Landing.
