FBI seizes computer used by Gordon Goodin

Daily News reports:

Santa Rosa Commissioner Jim Melvin said he was in his office Tuesday morning when the FBI showed up and asked him to turn over his computer.

“They asked me if I would allow them to take it or if they needed a court order,” Melvin said.

The computer was wanted as part of an ongoing federal grand jury investigation.

Melvin said the agents assured him he was not a subject of the investigation; they were seeking the computer used by his predecessor, Gordon Goodin.

Federal agents also requested documents from Team Santa Rosa, according to Cindy Anderson, the agency’s executive director.
