Mitchell has petition signatures to qualify

Clorissti Johnson Mitchell, who is running for Emerald Coast Utilities Authority, District 3 seat, has met the petition requirement.

“I look to have my website up by the weekend.” Mitchell told the IN. “I have already begun knocking on doors and I am rolling. I look to have a kick off fundraiser toward the end of September.”

The seat is currently held by Elvin McCorvey, who has prefiled. Other candidates include Calvin Avant, who has also met petition requirement, and Benell English.
