Two Escambia High football coaches suspended, questions linger

Escambia High head football coach Scott Anderson and assistant coach Timothy Jansky have been placed on administrative leave with pay after the Escambia County Sheriff Office launched a criminal investigation into whether the coaches tried to intimidate a student into dropping battery charges against a football player.

The question remains why did it take the parents of the victim to initiated this investigation? Where were the athletic director and principal? Was Carolyn Spooner, the Director of High School Education who played a role in last year’s Tate High School cover-up, made aware of the issue?

Unfortunately, we may never get answers to these questions.
