(Press Release) — On December 16th, 2011, deputies responded to an alarm at Speed Mart at 1800 S. Highway 29. When the deputies arrived on scene they saw a male wearing a mask inside the closed business. Jacob Westbrook, 18, of Cantonment, FL then exited the business through the rear. Deputies gave chase, and were able to apprehend Westbrook. While searching Westbrook, deputies located several of the stores items in his possession. Westbrook was arrested and charged with burglary, grand theft, possession of burglary tools, wearing a mask while committing a felony, and resisting an officer without violence. Westbrook has a bond of $23,000.
