Pre-K registration open enrollment

The Early Learning Coalition of Escambia County is accepting enrollments for Florida’s free Voluntary Pre-kindergarten program (VPK). To be eligible a child must live in Florida and must have been 4 years old on Sept. 1, 2011.

VPK School year program started August 22, 2011 but there is still time for your child to participate. FREE Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is a great way to introduce your child to the school environment without the day-long commitment. VPK focuses on socialization through hands-on academic activities and has been shown to better prepare children for the rigors of the modern kindergarten classroom.

Be confident that your child will be both socially and academically prepared for his or her first day of kindergarten upon completion of the FREE VPK program.

Bring your child’s birth certificate, parent’s proof of residence and parent’s photo ID to 3636 D North L Street, Suite A, Pensacola, FL.

For more information contact VPK office at 850-595-5439 or visit www.elcescambia.org.
