Mardi Gras “Masquerade” Gourmet Dinner

Culinary Productions, Inc. will host their 2nd Annual Mardi Gras “Masquerade” Gourmet Dinner at 5Eleven Palafox, located at 511 S. Palafox, on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.

The dinner will feature a gourmet, buffet-style Mardi Gras themed dinner complete with King Cakes and truffles from The Cupcake Emporium and a signature New Orleans cocktail. Dinner menu includes: gator cakes with a Cajun remoulade, Fat Tuesday Shrimp Tart, Creole Seafood Paella topped with fried, seasonal fish, crawfish scampi stuffed tomatoes, Bourbon Street blackened chicken, grilled vegetables and Mardi Gras Party Gras potatoes.

And it’s not just food. There will be a silent auction and a door prize drawing – proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation.

Tickets are $40 per person, which include the buffet, drinks and a door prize raffle ticket. Seats can be reserved by calling the CPI office at 469-0445.

Guests are encouraged to dress up in their krewe attire. The Krewe of Lafitte lighted parade will round the corner of the venue, and then guests will return for a night of dancing.
