Nine Mile Road mainstay is closing after 50 years. Ray Cranford’s Barbecue just hasn’t recovered from Hurricane Ivan and has been losing money. Folks, the local economy is shaky right now. Of course, you wouldn’t guess it from the budgets of our local governments.

We’ve got to speed up the Community Maritime Park? Let’s get the design phase done and hire an executive director and the master developer asap. Why do we keep studying this? Didn’t Studer spend $600K developing plans?

We’ve got to speed things up around here – the rest of the world doesn’t run on Pensacola time.
