Streets and Lanes Ministry

Streets and Lanes Ministry is quietly making a difference in lives of Pensacola’s homeless population.  President and founder of the organization, Cathy Harris, who was honored “Citizen of the Year” by the Pensacola Civitan Club in October, is an advocate for people in need.

Whether it’s working the overnight shifts at the Sacred Heart Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or making her weekly meal runs to the homeless in our area, she is dedicated to serving others.

Streets and Lanes is more than meals-on-wheels. Harris and her volunteers provide toiletries, clothing and even spiritual healing through prayers, bible study and distribution of bibles and Christian literature.

Streets and Lanes Ministry is always looking for volunteers and donations. Contact the ministry for a list of needed items. All contributions are tax deductible and go directly to the homeless in the area.
