The Daily News reports that more businesses are opening in Grand Boulevard in the Destin/Sandestin area.
The first store at the Howard Group’s 52-acre Grand Boulevard development opened its doors in March.

Since then, a dozen more retailers and restaurants have started doing business in the development on the north side of U.S. Highway 98 near Mack Bayou Road.  And more are coming.

The $250 million project has a build-out date of 2010. By then, at least 100 businesses will be there. When complete, the project will have a total of 450,000 square feet of retail space, restaurants and 250,000 square feet of office space.

The newest addition, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, is slated to open in October.
