London W1 Goes Beyond Earth Day

The Aveda company doesn’t just celebrate Earth Day, but dedicates the whole month of April to raising environmental awareness. London W1 Hair Salon and Studio, a local Aveda concept salon is doing its part to raise funds and awareness.

During the month of April, purchase the Light the Way soy, wax candle for $12. All proceeds will be donated to Global Greengrants Fund. Candle proceeds will total $1,407,000 if all are sold. The Global Greengrants Fund is Aveda’s Earth Month partner this year. The organization provides grants for community-based water projects in more than 40 countries.

London W1 is also hosting a Bachelor Auction and Silent Auction at Seville Quarter, Friday, April 13 at 7 p.m. If picking up a date on Friday the 13th sounds too risky, keep in mind it’s for a good cause. All proceeds from local eligible bachelor bids and the variety of gift baskets will go to The Gulf Coast Restoration Network and Global Greengrants.
