Escambia Commission Meeting Rescheduled

The Escambia County Commission will not be holding its regular afternoon meeting this week. Instead, commissioners will meet Thursday morning.

Due to timing conflicts with the Fiesta of Five Flags parade, the county has scheduled the commission’s regular bi-weekly meeting for 9 a.m. June 7. Normally , commissioners meet in the late afternoon.

Because the meeting was rescheduled for the time that the commission regularly holds its pre-meeting workshop, there will no work session this week. The commission meeting will be held, as always, in the Escambia County Commission chambers in the county’s downtown complex on Palafox Street.
