Facebook – CNN team up with Election APP

Facebook announced today that it will be teaming up with CNN to provide interactive election coverage.

Facebook users will be able to commit to voting, endorse candidates, and share their views through an “I’m Voting” Facebook app available in English and Spanish. CNN will use the app to analyze users’ dialogue on the election. It will also measure the amount of discussion surrounding each candidate and do surveys of voting-age users. In 2008, Facebook began its involvement in elections by allowing users to search for their polling place on the website and publish statuses saying “I voted.” available in English and Spanish. CNN will use the app to analyze users’ dialogue on the election. It will also measure the amount of discussion surrounding each candidate and do surveys of voting-age users.  More on nationaljournal.com
