Smith may be catching Davis

lensRod Smith is gaining momentum in the race to be the Democratic nominee for Florida’s governor.  We have heard that a new poll will be released this weekend that shows Smith ahead of Jim Davis for the first time.

This week alone Smith has raised over $500,000 for his campaign – none of it from Big Sugar. Overall, he has raised $1.8 just in North Florida – which is unprecedented for a Democrat.

Remember Florida has a passion for “dark horse” candidates. Smith just may pull this upset off.
