The mastermind behind the University of West Florida’s purchase of Scenic Hill Golf Course, public-private projects that would bring hotels, housing and a football stadium to the main campus, and a $50-million historical tourism program to downtown Pensacola has left UWF.
University faculty and staff were today informed that Matt Altier is no longer employed at UWF. His responsibilities as VP of Administrative Services and as CEO of Business Enterprises, Inc. will be reassigned.
