Jan. Primary could have big turnout

According to Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David Stafford, 9,395 ballots have been mailed out to county voters who have requested absentee ballots. This projects out tp a turnout between 35-40%.

For the 2004 presidential primary, 8170 ballots were requested. The voter turnout was 27%.
