West Florida Public Library Board of Trustees President, Bette Hooten, displayed our newspaper during her remarks at the dedication for the renovated and expanded downtown library (See article). Friends have told me that she thanked the Independent News paper for its support for the facility. There is even a picture of Bette holding our latest issue in the PNJ article.
