Escambia County Investigators arrested Freddie D. Fountain, 23, of Pensacola on January 11, 2013 for 2 counts of attempted homicide in the shooting which occurred on Belair Rd.
Deputies responded to a shots fired disturbance at 10:10 pm on January 10, 2013 in the 700 block of Belair Rd. Once deputies arrived on-scene they found Aquarius Devaughn dead, Durall Sumler and Shawn Jordan injured from gunshot wounds. Sumler and Jordan were transported to Baptist hospital where they remain.
Investigators released a list of 7 people, to include Fountain, believed to have information on the crime. Fountain was found January 11, 2013 and was later arrested. Fountain is charged with weapons offense (missiles into a dwelling) bond $20,000, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon bond $20,000, and attempted homicide (murder while engaged in certain felony offense) 2 counts bond $75,000 each count, total bond of $190,000. Fountain remains in the Escambia County jail as he has not yet made bond.
