State still pursues Allstate

Insurance regulators on Tuesday filed a complaint seeking to suspend Allstate’s authority to write new insurance policies in Florida in response to what they said was the company’s continued failure to provide requested documents. The administrative complaint was required by Florida law after Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty issued a Jan. 17 order suspending the company, said Ed Domansky, a spokesman for the Office of Insurance Regulation.
