Green-Up Begins Annual Crepe Myrtle Sale

Green-Up Santa Rosa, the non-profit nursery located at 6758 Park Ave in Milton, will begin it’s 18th Annual Crepe Myrtle Sale on Friday, May 31. The sale will feature a wide variety of colors of one of the hardiest, summer blooming plants on the gulf coast. All one gallon crepes will be priced at $5.99 and all 3 gallon at $9.99. The crepe myrtle has long been a favorite of gulf coast gardeners because of its resistance to drought and the ease of care.

The sale will run throughout the summer. Nursery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9 am through 5 pm and on Saturday from 9 am through 4 pm. For more information, call the Santa Rosa Clean Community System at 623-1930.
