GOP to meet with NAACP

Not in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties. The Daily News reports that the Okaloosa County Republicans want to know how much interest there is among blacks in what their party has to offer. And leaders of the county’s National Association for the Advancement of Colored People want to see what the Republican Party can, and will, do for blacks. The two groups have scheduled a “coffee social” Saturday to check each other out.

This is too progressive an idea for Escambia County.
