Grover files for third term

Grover Robinson filed to run for his third term as Escambia County Commissioner, District 4 in the 2014 elections.

In a press release, Robinson said yesterday, “Today, I file again to start the election process. It has been a pleasure to serve the citizens of District 4. We have accomplished much since 2006 including reducing county taxes, improving county infrastructure, fighting for restoration from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and building a better economic future for the county and its citizens.

However, I am most excited that another term will allow me to not only continue these actions but also to serve in a statewide capacity as the President of the Florida Association of Counties. This office will provide me an opportunity to position Escambia County as a leadership community in Tallahassee and Washington DC.

I look forward to serving the citizens of District 4 and Escambia County and I hope they will allow me the opportunity to serve them in these capacities.”
