The Red Party comes back to Pensacola

Against HIV/AIDS, Inc. co-hosts the Second Annual Red Party on Saturday, November 2, 2013. Co-hosted with The HIV Care Center of Pensacola, a joint effort provides for an even larger event than last year. This year’s Theme of “On the Red Carpet” provides a glitzy Hollywood ambience, and The Palafox House located at 196 Palafox Street provides the perfect venue. Hours of the event will be 7pm til midnight with doors opening at 6:30pm. Live entertainment, music by DJ Mindy, heavy hors d’oeuvres and full open bar greet the guests at 7pm. Proceeds of the evening’s event will go to organizations in Northwest Florida who provide assistance to people infected and living with HIV and AIDS. Beneficiaries include The HIV Care Center, Inc., OASIS and A Safe Port Counseling Center.

The evening boasts entertainment from The Armorettes from Atlanta and several scenes from Pensacola Little Theatre’s production of Hairspray. Edna Turnblad, played by Jerry Ahillen, will Emcee the evening’s events. Also an on-going silent auction, multiple raffles and an evening of frivolity will provide all guests many choices for an entertaining evening while allowing funds to be raised in a festive atmosphere.

Tickets for the Second Annual Red Party are $40 per ticket or $35 per ticket for 2 or more being purchased simultaneously. Tickets are available for purchase by any Against HIV/AIDS, Inc. member or from the HIV Care Center located at Suite 305 in Sacred Heart Hospital. More information on the party or ticket purchases can be obtained by calling 712-7777.

Against HIV/AIDS, Inc. is a pending non-profit 501c3 corporation organized in 2011. The purpose of the corporation is to raise funds and bridge the financial gaps for other organizations in Northwest Florida who are faced with losing funding from various sources.
