Since 2006, The Independent News has honored the top under-35-year-olds in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. The “stars” have come from all walks of life
We are looking for Rising Stars for 2014. To qualify for the award, the nominee must live, work or go to school in Escambia or Santa Rosa counties and be younger than age 35 as of 12/31/13. He/she needs to be someone you believe is a rising star in their profession or the community.
Please email me (rick@inweekly.net) whom you think deserves this honor. We need their name, age, email address and employer. We will contact them for more information and a selection committee will make the final decision.
The deadline for nominations is Monday, Dec. 23. There will be no extensions. The winners will be announced in January.
