Before a crowd 6,022 fans under cloudy skies (53 degrees), the Northwest Ark. Naturals beat San Antonio, 11-4. The Naturals are playing just their second game in their new ballpark, Arvest Park.

Yesterday, the CMPA board invited two developers to make presentations in May. In June, the board will probably select one as the master developer.

The Naturals play in Springdale, Ark. – a city of 65,000, with a strong mayor-council form of government. In addition to the position of mayor, Springdale voters elect a City Clerk and City Attorney. There are eight city council members, two each from four different wards although the entire city elects all eight council members.
