Another reporter exits daily newspaper

Rhema Thompson, education reporter for the Pensacola News Journal, announced today in a column in the paper that she is leaving the area. Thompson is another promising young reporter departing from the PNJ, following Nate Monroe, Erin Kourkounis and Eric Heisig.

The daily is reloading its newsroom and still making buckets of money. Next year it will be interesting to see how the PNJ evolves under its new financial model.
