The company, which has other locations in Mobile, Ala., Galveston and Port Freeport, Tex., Port Fourchon, La. and Dos Bocas, Mex., will invest $10-12 million in construction, provide 100 jobs, and bring in an estimated $250,000 in revenue to the port. Construction will begin with the next year and it’s expected to finished by the end of 2016.

Mayor Ashton Hayward said told the television station, “If you look where we are geographically located, being right by Gulf- it sets us up perfectly for it.”

This announcement is a huge boon for the port and fits nicely with the Port Committee’s recommendations from a couple years ago.
