How City works

Remember the tree ordinance that finally was agreed on by the developers and the environmentalists. Guess when it will be finally approved – July 3 –nearly two months after it was agreed upon.

There will be June 19 Council public hearing to get public comment on changes to the city’s tree ordinance, designed to protect older, larger trees. The final vote is July 3.

Nothing moves fast in Pensacola – even when everybody agrees.
