Hayward says deal struck with Varona

Statement from Mayor Ashton Hayward regarding airport concessions

In order to ensure a smooth and orderly transition, the City has agreed to carefully store Varonaâ€™s equipment, at no cost, for a period of 60 days. Our new concessions vendor, OHM, is up and running and we are getting great feedback from Airport patrons. We are excited about moving forward and continuing to work with Mr. de Varona as part owner of the Airportâ€™s news and gifts concessionaire.
