Hiring: ACE Art and Culture Festival Curator

The non-profit devoted to the arts, Arts, Culture & Entertainment, Inc. (ACE), is seeking an individual to carry out the implementation of a fall arts/culture event. The mission of the event is to utilize existing and new events to create a festival that showcases the cultural community including but not limited to the visual, performing and culinary avenues that will attract local, regional and national visitors.

This will be a contract position that will have an immediate start, will end on December 31, 2014, and will report to the event planning committee. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, collaborative in nature, have strong fiscal management, an arts background may be beneficial, and have previous event planning experience.

Individuals interested in presenting a proposal should submit a letter of intent no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Letter should be emailed to davidbearace@aol.com. Proposals will be heard on April 11, 2014 at 8:30 AM. Items that should be addressed in the proposal include: (1) how you envision implementing the event for 2014; (2) how you see the event growing in the next five years; (3) prior experience in building collaborative efforts; (4) fees for your time/services for planning & implementing the event.

Proposal Presentations
