State Attorney clears Valentino on email issue

The State Attorney’s office has sent a letter to Douglas Underhill concerning whether Escambia County Commissioner Gene Valentino delivered requested emails to Underhill in a timely matter. The letter, dated today and signed by Gregory Marcille, Chief Assistant State Attorney, stated that based on the SAO review all records requested had been received by Underhill and “the failure to provide the records at the time of the original request was inadvertent.”
