Escambia drops population

The U.S. Census estimates are in. Escambia County lost 214 people. Santa Rosa gained 2,475. Baldwin County, Ala. gained 3,536.

The three counties together have 625,220 people. Unfortunately Escambia County is the poorest, least literate and has the worst health and environmental conditions of the three.
