On July 18, Escambia County Commissioner Lumon May and State Representative Mike Hill toured the Wedgewood neighborhood to get a firsthand look at the various pit and landfill projects currently in operation in the neighborhood.
The tour took place after Commissioner May and the entire Escambia County Commission heard the concerns of Wedgewood residents who fear the businesses may be causing environmental and physical harm to the residents.
