As part of Escambia County’s reorganization, several department heads and other employees were offered early buy-outs. As of August 8, the total cost of the buyouts is $1,249,721.10.
The biggest pay off are:

Donald Mayo, Director, Building Inspections: $207,989
Robert Jacobsen, Information Resources Director: $128,528
Jean Kassab, Administrative Services Director: $121,448
