Mobile annexation

Mobile Mayor Sam Jones wants to annex more of the county. It’s much easier to do in Alabama than Florida. Last year, the City of Pensacola had an annexation plan that the staff worked on for months. The staff even produced a report ( Annexation Report).

The city council reviewed it, but I don’t much ever happened. No surprise there. Another example of the council wasting our time and trying to make look like they are doing something. Here is the article we wrote July 2007 on annexation: Pensacola A Growing City
