Crist visits Milton

Gov. Charlie Crist visited the shelter at the Milton Community Center. It was more than a publicity stunt. According to volunteers there, Crist shook hands, thanked volunteers and really spent time with the evacuees from Louisiana….even reading to some of the children. Later he went to Milton High School to encourage and thank Florida Fish And Wildlife officers for going to areas hurt by Hurricane Gustav. Crist gave the people there a real morale boost.
