Mobile Register reports the EADS – the partner of Northrup Grumman in the Mobile air tanker deal – has put former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott on its board of directors.
“I said when I retired from the Senate that I would look for opportunities to help Mississippi and the Gulf Coast, and EADS is a great company that wants to invest in our part of the world. I am happy to join with them and do all I can to support their efforts,” Lott said Wednesday.
