The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority board passed curbside recycling that will start Jan. 1. The base rate drops from $19.62 to $17.97 for both garbage and recycling pickup. Garbage and recycling will be picked up on separate days.
If you generate a large volume, you can get a second garbage can for $3 a month.
