PS Podcast: CMPA wins appeals case against former master developer

While the Pensacola City Council and Mayor Ashton Hayward debate with to do with its listing agent for the Community Maritime Park, the CMPA won a victory in appeals court in the case involving its former developer, Maritime Park Development Partners, LLC.

MPDP was suing to get its remaining share of the design-build contract. The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled, “Because MPDP’s share of the contract was ill-gotten, the district court was within its authority to freeze MPDP’s share of the design-build contract.” Read 11th Circuit PCA Opinion – Affirmed.pdf
