As part of an ongoing series of reports on local education, the Studer Community Institute is hosting a town hall meeting that BlabTV will broadcast live tonight at 8 p.m.
The Education Town Hall With Mollye Barrows, presented by Cox Communications and sponsored in part by Hill-Kelly Dodge, also will steam live on BlabTV.com.
Mollye Barrows, a Studer Community Institute associate and former WEAR anchor and reporter, will serve as the moderator for the town hall.
“At the Studer Community Institute we’ve reported a lot on the state of education in the Pensacola area,†said Barrows. “The town hall is a chance for community leaders to get together to discuss, deliberate, and hopefully decide on some ways that we can all work to improve educational outcomes for students of all ages.â€
The town hall will focus on three key areas of education: early learning, workforce readiness, and poverty.
