Gov. Scott vetoes $461 million in the FY16 budget, including Airport and National Flight Academy (updated)

The list of line-item vetoes by Gov. Rick Scott has been released the cuts total $461,387,164 –$220 million of which is from General Revenues.

Northwest Florida projects impacted include:
City of Milton – Riverwalk $688,713
National Flight Academy $1 million
Pensacola International Airport $3 million
Re-Entry Alliance of Pensacola $50,000

Lonnie Hawkins sent a list of few other projects that were axed:

$1.5 million for Whiting Aviation Industrial Park in Santa Rosa
$1.0 Million for Muskogee Road freight corridor in Escambia
$1 million for Project FOIL, an economic development project of the Pensacola Escambia Economic Development Commission
