The Florida Ethics Commission also dismissed a series of allegations against Pensacola City Councilman Brian Spencer.
From the report:
No probable cause was found to believe that Pensacola City Councilmember BRIAN SPENCER had a voting conflict when he voted on a measure in February 2012 concerning a possible business associate. The Commission also found no probable cause to believe that he had a conflicting contractual relationship with an entity that was doing business with the City.
An allegation that he used or disclosed information gained by his position that was not available to the general public in order to secure a benefit for himself or others was dismissed with a finding or no probable cause, as was an allegation that he corruptly misused his position to manipulate a city process for the benefit of a business associate.
