Court rejects Strand rehearing

The Florida Supreme Court has refused to rehear Dr. Gregory Strand’s case on the use of the tax increment financing by local governments. The vote was 5-0.

This ends Strand’s attempt to block Escambia County use of TIF funds to widen a road on Perdido Key.

Also let’s the Pensacola Community Redevelopment Agency proceed with the bond financing of the Community Maritime Park.
