Sallis signs voting conflict form

Planning Board member Scott Sallis has signed a Form 8B – Memorandum of Voting Conflict.

It is for the vote that occurred on July 14. The conflict is the measure before the planning board “inured to the special gain of our client Paula and Laura Austin – Austin Residence.”

The form does not mention that Sallis actually voted on the measure. It was signed August 5, three days after we reported the possible violation.

The form is also signed the same day Sallis told Inweekly that he and city staff had a conference call with the Florida Ethics Commission.
