Va. reporter, camera man killed during live broadcast this morning

WDBJ-TV in Roanoke, Va. is reporting that a gunman killed its reporter Alison Parker, 24, and videographer Adam Ward, 27, during a live broadcast this morning.

The station’s general manager, Jeff Marks, said that Parker and Ward died shortly after 6:45 a.m., when the shots rang out.

Marks said, “We heard screaming and then we heard nothing.”
